It is confusing to me that you conflate bathing/soaking with swimming. They both are beneficial but for very different reasons. For example you support the therme developments but those don’t have pools for actual swimming (for exercise, athletic development, etc). There is dipping, soaking, and swimming and they’re not all the same things.
Here at Culture of Bathing we aim to cover bathing, water and wellbeing in the broadest sense. We’re on a mission to explore the many facets of contemporary bathing culture and consider sauna and cold plunge, soaking in thermal waters, wild swimming or athletic swimming and many more are all part of a 360 degree view of bathing.
Oh, I am missing Zurich on this list. Summers here are all about swimming in the lake or the river 💙

Sure but they’re all different things and require different facilities and resources. When you conflate them all it seems insincere.
